Choose the square composition first, then split exact rows and columns
A profile nine-grid needs nine identical images. The tool takes the largest centered square and divides it into nine 400 × 400 px PNG tiles.
ZIP files are numbered left-to-right, top-to-bottom. Some platforms display profiles in another order, so confirm posting sequence in that platform’s preview.
Square side = min(source width, source height); tile side = square side ÷ 3.

Why are the sides or top and bottom cropped?
Nine tiles must form a square. The crop is centered; make a square source first if the subject is off-center.
What is the ZIP order?
01–03 are row one, 04–06 row two, and 07–09 row three. Zero-padded filenames preserve sorting.
Do the tiles have a watermark?
No. Each PNG contains only its corresponding source area.
