A contact sheet is a reviewable visual index, not just a collage
Photo selects, design proposals, and product reviews need side-by-side comparison. Numbers and filenames let feedback point to an exact frame instead of “the one at bottom left.”
Center crops create a consistent rhythm without changing source files. If a subject sits near an edge, inspect the proof and crop the source first when needed.
Output width is 1600 px; cell width = (canvas width − outer margins − column gaps) ÷ columns.

How many photos can I add?
Up to 18 photos and 80 MB per sheet. The limit protects mobile browser memory; split larger sets across sheets.
Can I reorder photos?
Yes. Move-up and move-down controls work with mouse, touch, and keyboard without drag-and-drop.
Why are photos slightly cropped?
A contact sheet needs consistent frames, so it uses centered cover crops. The long-image tool preserves every image’s aspect ratio.
